Here at Friends of Somerset School Foundation, we are driven to enrich the lives of the children. CONSTANTINA CALDIS
Vice Chair &
Playground Committee Co-Chair
Constantina Caldis Roberts is an education and community engagement professional with over a decade of experience supporting schools, arts organizations, and post‑secondary institutions. She brings a collaborative, people‑centred approach to fundraising, event coordination, and building strong relationships between families, educators, and community partners. In her professional role at the University of Calgary, she supports academic programs and community initiatives that enhance student experiences. Outside of work, Constantina enjoys arts and crafts projects, swimming, and planning events that bring people together, whether for a school fundraiser, community celebration, or creative gathering.

NICOLE KLEIN
Treasurer
With a background in accounting and a heart for community involvement, Nicole has been volunteering in child-focused roles since 2015. She is actively involved in Friends of Somerset School Foundation as Treasurer and Fun Lunch Coordinator, helping ensure smooth operations and creating positive experiences for students and families. She also serves as Treasurer for the Somerset Bridlewood Community Association and is passionate about giving back and helping create a welcoming, connected community for families. Outside of volunteering, she enjoys skiing, being close to the water, travelling, and sharing new experiences with her family.

JULIE KRIEL
Secretary
Juli Kriel has been an active member of the Somerset School Council since 2021, when her oldest child began Grade 1. She currently serves as Secretary for the Somerset School Parent Council and the Friends of Somerset Association, where she helps keep meetings organized and maintains detailed records to support the council’s ongoing initiatives for the school. Juli is a full-time working mom and works as a DNA sequencing lab technician at the University of Calgary. While balancing a busy professional and family life, she contributes to the council wherever she can—attending meetings, supporting fundraising events, and volunteering for school field trips. She values the importance of showing up for the school community and helping create meaningful experiences for students. Outside of her volunteer work, Juli enjoys an active family life. During the winter months, she can often be found skiing or ice skating, while summers are spent camping and enjoying the outdoors with her family. Juli looks forward to another year of serving on the school council and contributing to a positive and supportive learning environment for all students.

KAMEA STACEY
SOCIAL MEDIA COORDINATOR
Kamea Stacey joined the Friends of Somerset School Foundation at the start of the 2025–2026 school year, bringing with her a wealth of experience in digital marketing and social media management. In her role as Digital Marketer, Kamea is responsible for amplifying the foundation's online presence, supporting fundraising campaigns, and helping drive key initiatives — including the school's exciting new playground project — to the wider Somerset community and beyond. With a strong background in crafting compelling digital content and building engaged online communities, Kamea brings both strategic thinking and creative energy to everything she does. Her expertise in leveraging social media platforms and digital tools makes her an invaluable asset to the FSSF team as they work toward enriching the lives of students at Somerset School. Kamea is passionate about community and is thrilled to be contributing her skills to such a meaningful cause. She looks forward to collaborating with fellow council members, parents, and supporters to help shape a brighter future for Somerset School in the years to come.

KATHRYN WYTSMA-FISHER
FUN LUNCH & VOLUNTEER COORDINATOR
Kathryn Wytsma-Fisher has been part of the parent council since 2025 and is currently serving as the volunteer coordinator. Her full-time job is as a clinical exercise physiologist where she runs her own private practice as well as working for the University of Calgary as a sessional instructor/research lead. She is passionate about getting involved with the school whenever possible and knows how important it is to support our students and their educators. Growing up, she remembers how her mom got involved at the school and now she is excited to do the same for her son at Somerset. Outside of work and volunteering, Kathryn enjoys being active and outdoors. Her family enjoys hiking, biking and camping as well as taking their dog for a walk around the community.
